Lincoln Loop is seeking a part-time, remote UX Developer to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This position has a minimum commitment of 2 months, 3 days/week, with flexible working hours. This position pays $75-100/hour, depending on experience. We are cautiously growing and looking to expand our UX team to take on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our design team and key stakeholders to translate designs into semantic, accessible, clean HTML/CSS.
- Integrate designs with frameworks using templating languages, such as Jinja2, Nunjucks, JSX, and Liquid.
- Build reusable components and patterns as part of a design system. Document those patterns in Storybook or lower-fidelity tools.
- Utilizing modern CSS and CSS frameworks to accelerate development and build maintainable systems.
- Work closely with the design team to identify and resolve UX problems, suggesting improvements to enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates and insights on project progress and challenges.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX development with a portfolio or project links demonstrating expertise in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, web accessibility, and responsive design.
- Working knowledge of design tools, such as Figma or Penpot.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects with changing priorities.
- Previous agency or consultancy experience.
Our ideal candidate
- You have 4+ hours of overlap with the US Eastern timezone.
- You’ve contributed to a design system.
- You have a keen eye for detail.
- You’ve built front-ends for single-page applications and traditional websites.
- You previously worked in an agency or were a consultant in multiple places.
- You’ve integrated front-end code with a back-end framework like Django, Ruby on Rails, or Lavarel.
